keysync software package provides Syncs OTR identities between the different chat programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install keysync
keysync is installed in your system.
Make ensure the keysync package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep keysync *
You will get with keysync package name, version, architecture and description in a table
